every child is special.. [Taare Zameen Par]
Taare Zameen Par..
If you did not understand what this meant.. then in pure English, it means... "Stars on Earth"
Yes, you got it now.. what i mean by this post.
Think of the most special child you have seen in your life till date... I am sure you will tell something about your child or your younger brother or sister... or some nephew or niece of yours.. well, i cant tell exactly about you, but let me tell you one of my experiences...
I met a child few days back, twelve years old, an avid Cricket fan. Cricket ran in his veins like blood does in ours. But alas... he could not play the game... he is a cripple. But you know, what made him a star among the others? He remembered each and every match and innings played by his SUPER STAR, the master blaster, Sachin Tendulkar. All figures and statistics on the tip of his tongue. And the best part, he could commentate the game very well...
He indeed is a star amongst the others of his lot. We should encourage this star. So that one day this child, Amit, should actually fulfill his dream. May be not of playing cricket, but at least, commentating in an international cricket match...
I appreciate him. His skills.
Hats off to Aamir Khan, who actually made many parents realize the fact that not all children can show the exact results what they want and made parents believe in the dreams of their children.

india is out of world cup..
Yes, I am a bit late in coming up with this post.. but i wanted to make my feelings come out for the same.
The Indian Team is good. But they performed patheticaly this time. Yes, there were a few loop holes as well. What i feel was that they could have kept shehwag out of this.
Anyways, i have not come here to pen down what india should have done or who should have played.
There is a proverb in Hindi which says "pal mein sona, pal mein tola.. " which means that moments before "it" was like gold, and in moments, "it" is nothing but ashes.
It is all our perspective. Before going into world cup, the indian team was like god. And today when they are out of it, media is treating them like anything. Even people are doing the same.
Thats all.. :p

Happy New Year!
A moment has the power to change our lives. One such moment comes in lives of everyone sometime or the other and then, suddenly everything changes. Right from our pespective towards the simplest thing in life to the complex ones.
I want this "one-such-moment" to come in my life as well. And the changes I want in my life then are: to be little more simple, little more sincere, little more dedicated, little more love-able, little more good.
Well, yeah, these are like resolutions for the new year!
There are some more, which may seem like silly, but will help me always! Like, getting up from bed early, going to office on time, controlling my over-shooting telephone bill.. blah-blah-blah...
And now, I want to wish the world a great day, everyday, throughout 2007!
